Complete Professional Darts Shop
 When
it comes to buying darts there’s one rule to follow.
Find a good darts shop and try a wide range of darts
until you find the set that fits you. So we went shopping
to find our favorite darts shop. We based our search
on three criteria. 1. Good selection. 2. Excellent customer
service from knowledgeable staff members. And 3. Time
and assistance allowed to test the darts and ask questions.
Following
a good tip we visited Dart Shop Togi’s located
in Tokyo’s Shibuya ward, just a 5 min walk from
Nishi Shinjuku Go Chome station on the Oedo line. The
shop is located upstairs from Dart Bar Togi’s,
a very nice and friendly dart bar with 100yen Cricket
and 501 games.
 Togi’s
is a darters paradise. One step through the door and
you are in the world of darts. Togi’s carries
a wide range of top darts products and accessories at
prices we found to be very competitive. Some of our
favorite brands, Unicorn, DataDart, B & W, GLD,
Lazerdarts and more were well represented. In addition,
Togi’s carries a great selection of both steel
tip and soft tip barrels for selective players who want
more options. In addition to their selection of darts,
Togi’s carries a good range of accessories, shafts
and one of the best selections of flights we have seen
in Tokyo.
 Mochida-san,
Togi’s resident darts expert gave us a warm welcome
and assisted us in selecting a few darts to try. We
were pleased to see that he recommended a wide range
of darts based on our weight and design preferences.
Once we had a few options he escorted us to the dartboard
where we were able to try out our selections. We were
given plenty of time to try the darts and to select
alternatives as we refined our search. After roughly
an hour we had narrowed the search to two sets. And
with another ½ hour of play we were able to finally
select our favorite set.In all our shopping experience
was very pleasant.
 We
were giving great support and help but also allowed
plenty of time to try and select our darts. Togi’s
staff were very helpful offering advice and detailed
information about each set we tested. Our special thanks
to Mochida-san who was a goldmine of darts information
and was wonderfully helpful in giving us tips on balance,
weight, barrel shape and more.
 In
addition to being a fine darts shop, Togi’s also
features two steel tip boards and PCs with scoring software
available for unlimited play for 1,500yen. The shop
features a full line of drinks and food and caters to
steel tip darters. In addition there is a bristle board
for trying out both soft and steel tip darts. Many of
the clients are excellent players and we had a great
time watching a few rounds of 501.
